Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of duqit.com and the services we provide — our digital invitation maker and our business POS platform (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. Duqit Labs is based in Sri Lanka; you can reach us at contact@duqit.com.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done under your account. You must provide a working email address, and you may sign in with Google or Facebook instead of a password. One person or business per account. You must be able to enter a binding agreement (or have a parent or guardian's permission) to use the Service.

Your content

The event details, guest lists, invitations, and business records you create remain yours. You give us only the limited licence needed to store, render, and deliver them — for example, showing your invitation card to the guests you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to use the names and contact details you enter, and for the content of your invitations. Content that is unlawful, deceptive, or abusive is not allowed and may be removed.

Guest links & RSVPs

Each guest receives a private link protected by an unguessable token. Anyone who has a link can view that invitation and reply to it, so share links only with the people they are meant for. We exclude guest pages from search engines.

Acceptable use

• No spam: send invitations only to people you genuinely know and are inviting.
• No attempts to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• No impersonation of other people or organisations.
• No use of the Service for anything unlawful.

Pricing, trials & subscriptions

Each Duqit app is a monthly subscription that begins with a 3-month free trial — no payment details are needed to start, and current prices are always shown on our pricing page. When a trial or subscription ends, your ability to create and edit in that app is paused until you subscribe, but everything you already published stays live — guest invitation links, menus and cards keep working, and nothing you created is deleted. We will announce any price change in advance.

Availability & warranty

We work hard to keep the Service fast and available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may update, change, or retire features as the Service evolves. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the preceding 12 months.

Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account and all associated data — see our data deletion instructions. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and where practical we will warn you first.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes & law

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date above, and announce significant changes to account holders by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
