Free QR code generator
Type or paste anything — a website, a WhatsApp link, a menu, a Wi-Fi password — and download a clean PNG. No account, no watermark, and the QR never expires because the data is inside the code itself.
Static vs dynamic QR codes
This tool makes static QR codes: the link or text is stored in the code itself, so it never expires and nobody can switch it off. The trade-off is that you cannot change the destination after printing. If you need a code whose content you can update later — a restaurant menu, a feedback form, a loyalty card — use one of the Duqit apps below: each gives you a permanent QR that points to a page you edit any time.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit or watermark?
No watermark, no account, and no expiry. Content is capped at 500 characters, which is far more than a QR should carry anyway — long content makes a dense code that cheap phone cameras struggle to read.
What size should I print?
Rule of thumb: the code should be at least one tenth of the distance it will be scanned from. A table tent scanned from 30 cm needs 3 cm; a poster scanned from 2 m needs 20 cm. Use the Poster size and keep a white margin around it.
Can I make a QR code for a Wi-Fi password?
Yes — choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name and password, and guests scan to join without typing anything. Both iPhone and Android understand the format.
